It’s really weird, because when you look at the sky you can tell no difference. But when you look at the shadows (it’s currently 2.3o pm) there is definitely an orange tinge to the light.
Apparently it’s to do with the smoke wafting over from Australia.
The heat down in this part of the world has been phenomenal. Australia hit 47 degrees in some parts yesterday, and though we were supposed to hit in the mid thirties today in NZ, I think we are hovering in the high twenties.
It’s not hot enough to fry an egg on the bonnet of the car….but then again, maybe it is…..
